Job Summary:

Duties:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on light duty diesel vehicles, including engine, transmission, and electrical system maintenance, with a focus on optimizing performance and reliability.
• Install performance enhancements and cosmetic accessories according to client preferences and specifications.
• Assist in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues specific to light duty diesel vehicles, utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
• Identify and source correct parts and components required for maintenance and repair tasks on vehicles, ensuring compatibility and quality.
• Collaborate with the team to strategize and execute effective repair solutions, contributing to the overall efficiency of our operations
• Maintain meticulous records of all services performed on each vehicle, adhering to quality assurance protocols
• Demonstrate effective communication skills when interacting with employees or customers, providing clear explanations of complex issues and recommended repair solutions
• Stay informed about the latest advancements in automotive technology and industry best practices, incorporating this knowledge into daily tasks to uphold the shop's commitment to excellence

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Diesel Automotive Technician or similar role
• Strong knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance
• Familiarity with Diesel Engines (Powerstroke and Cummins)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Must own or possess their own tools
